Exec committee
Simply, our ‘Union’; the University of Abertay Dundee Students’ Association.
The Students’ Association is run by students like you through our eight member Executive Committee. The Committee consists of two full time paid officers – The President and Vice President – and six part time unpaid officers. These positions are elected every March by you.
The responsibility of the full time officers is to assist in solving the day to day problems you encounter as a student. The part time officers –who still continue to study- job is to aid the full time officers as well as make the decisions on issues affecting the wider student population.
Students with grievances, complaints and problem with the University of Abertay have choice to discuss and inform the Association about their situation. The Association is there to fill in the gap between students and the University. The Association is there to challenge and question the University on all matters that affect its members: the students.
As you automatically become a member of the Students Association when you matriculate, you are entitled to use all of our services, and to take part in shaping and changing the Association for the future. We are here for YOU, so if you need to speak to us about any issue, don’t hold back.
